Perkongsian Artikel Terpilih Hasil Penyelidikan Geran Insentif Penyelidikan untuk Pengajaran dan Pembelajaran (GIPP)
GIPP adalah inisiatif yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualiti dan keberkesanan Pengajaran dan Pembelajaran (P&P) melalui aktiviti penyelidikan. Selain itu, geran ini juga bertujuan untuk menyumbang idea dan kepakaran dalam penggubalan polisi P&P. Hasil penyelidikan ini boleh dijadikan asas dalam membuat perancangan strategik berkaitan P&P di universiti, malah memberi impak kepada UPM dan pelajar sejajar dengan Matlamat 1 UPM untuk mempertingkatkan kualiti dan daya saing graduan.
HUST-UPM Computer-Assisted Medical Webinar
On the morning of March 11, 2024, the School of Computer Science and Technology at Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) was invited to join and co-organized the "Computer-Assisted Medical Webinar" with the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). The webinar featured splendid academic presentations by Professor Rahmita Wirza O.K. Rahmat, Associate Professor Iskandar Ishak from UPM, and Associate Professor Feng Lu from HUST. Dr. Ng Seng Beng from the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology at UPM chaired the webinar. Ybhg. Dato' Professor Dr. Shamala K. Subramaniam, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology at UPM, attended the webinar and delivered a speech.

Augmented reality in medical education
“The goal of Augmented Reality (AR) is to improve and enhance our perception of the surroundings by combining sensing, computing and display technologies. Most AR research addresses human vision, as it is generally considered to be our most important sense,” said Prof Dr Rahmita Wirza O.K. Rahmat from the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology of Universiti Putra Malaysia at the e-KLESF 2021 webinar. The webinar, titled “Augmented Reality in Medical Education: A Necessity or a Style?”, was held via Zoom and Facebook Live on 24 October 2021. The objectives were to educate the audience on the importance of using AR applications in medical education as well as to expose them to the importance of utilising good interface design for AR applications in medical education.
